BeaconX Spring 2025

Year 5 to Year 6 Exam Preparation

Every Tuesday and Thursday Evening, 18:00 - 18:45

We are delighted to once again be offering this popular course. Below is an outline of topics covered during the 12 weeks:

 

  • A comprehensive 12-week course focusing on Maths, English, Verbal and Non-Verbal Reasoning

  • Designed for students in Year 5 who are taking transfer tests or other exams at the start of Year 6

  • Two weekly 45-minute live video lessons every Tuesday and Thursday evenings at 6pm

  • Sessions recorded and available for anyone who misses them

  • Weekly assignments set on Teams for students to complete in their own time

  • Taught by experienced Beacon School teachers: Mika Pater – Maths/NVR, Mark Walker – English/VR

  • Full report and certificate at end of the course

  • Practical examples and advice for parents about how to implement effective learning at home
